AGREA-CR – Member is a designation conferred to a residential appraisal specialist who is a Member of the Associate of Georgia Real Estate Appraisers (AGREA)

AGREA was founded in 2010 as a professional association of real estate appraisers.  Today, The Association of Georgia Real Estate Appraisers has over 400 members. AGREA was formed to promote respect and profitability, and build professional networking opportunities for Georgia Real Estate Appraisers. There are seven [4] levels of membership with four [3] professional designations.

AGREA-CR designates must be a member (Candidate, Associate, or Affiliate) of AGREA and must meet the following requirements for AGREA-CR – Member status:

Certification:

  • Proof of having residential state certification

Education: 

  • Complete a minimum of 14 CE hours in subjects related to real-estate appraisal, Ethics course, or other equivalent.
  • Completed at least 7 USPAP hours pre 2 year period.

Experience:

  • No less than two [2] years real estate appraisal experience.

Demonstration Report:

  • Submit an original and one copy of a Self-Contained Appraisal Report that communicates a complete appraisal of a one [1] to four [4] unit residential property , which must be approved by the AGREA Membership Admissions Committee.
